Fiberglass grating
Fiberglass grating, also known as fiberglass grating plate, is a plate-like material with many spaces, made by using fiberglass as a reinforcing material and unsaturated polyester resin as a matrix through a special processing composite. Fiberglass grating can be used as a structural material; it is used for floors, trench covers, platforms, ship decks, stairs, and walkways in corrosive environments. It features corrosion resistance, flame retardancy, non-magnetic insulation, bright colors, and a variety of styles.

Fiberglass gratings, also known as fiberglass grating plates, are a type of plate material with many spaces, made by using fiberglass as the reinforcing material and unsaturated polyester resin as the matrix, through a special processing and composite process. Fiberglass gratings can be used as structural materials, and are used for flooring, trench covers, platforms, ship decks, stairs, walkways, etc., in corrosive environments. They feature corrosion resistance, flame retardancy, non-magnetic insulation, vibrant colors, and a variety of styles.
Fiberglass gratings are made by interweaving fiberglass and resin casting in an integral molding process, creating fiberglass grating plates with many regularly distributed rectangular and square spaces. They have bidirectional isotropic mechanical characteristics. They are widely used in the working platforms, equipment platforms, drilling platforms, walkways, etc., of industries such as petroleum, chemical electronics, power, paper, printing and dyeing, electroplating, marine exploration, and wastewater treatment. They are ideal products for corrosive environments and are also suitable for civil building facilities.
The presence of corrosive liquids and gases causes rapid corrosion of metals in these areas. Although anti-corrosion measures are taken, the corrosion of components is still alarming. This not only creates a harsh production environment but also affects safe production, sometimes necessitating production shutdowns for repairs. Using fiberglass gratings as structural materials in these areas can achieve very good results. They have a long service life, low cost, safety and reliability, require no maintenance, and are aesthetically pleasing. In the United States, such products have been widely used for more than 30 years, and the production, use, and sales of fiberglass gratings have become standardized, serialized, and commercialized, with considerable usage. In the reconstruction work of the Gulf region and Middle East oil fields, experts have concluded that fiberglass gratings are the most economical and reasonable materials, and are therefore being used extensively. Fiberglass gratings are also being used in Asia and Singapore.

Molded gratings (also known as fiberglass gratings)
Fiberglass (FRP) gratings are a type of fiberglass plate material with many regularly distributed rectangular and square spaces, made using fiberglass as the reinforcing material and unsaturated polyester resin as the matrix, using a molding process. This series of products includes: crescent surface, sand surface, double plane, and flat gratings.
Grating Performance Characteristics
1. Corrosion resistance: It has excellent resistance to corrosion from acids, alkalis, organic solvents, and salts, among other gaseous and liquid media, making it unparalleled in corrosion prevention. Depending on the actual application, phthalate, isophthalate, and vinyl ester resins can be economically selected as matrix materials.
2. Lightweight and high strength: The density of fiberglass gratings is no more than 2, only 1/4 that of steel and 2/3 that of aluminum. Its strength is 10 times that of hard polyvinyl chloride, and its absolute strength exceeds that of aluminum and ordinary steel.
3. Flame retardant: The flame spread rate (ASTME-84) of ordinary flame-retardant gratings does not exceed 25; the flame spread rate of advanced flame-retardant vinyl gratings does not exceed 10. The oxygen index is not less than 28 (GB8924).
4. Weather resistance: Service life of over 50 years.
5. Safety: It has excellent electrical insulation, no breakdown at 10KV voltage; it is non-magnetic and can be used on equipment sensitive to magnetism; the special structure of fiberglass gratings also has anti-slip and fatigue resistance characteristics.
