Cooling tower dedicated fiberglass fans are manufactured using advanced technology. The blades are made of epoxy fiberglass and utilize a hollow structure airfoil design with foamed plastic filling. Because fan air output efficiency is mainly concentrated in the outer edge, the airfoil blades have a larger working surface, resulting in higher efficiency and greater air volume under the same conditions. For the same air volume and efficiency, a smaller fan diameter can be used. The streamlined airfoil design completely overcomes the drawbacks of aluminum blades, such as vortex generation, high noise, and high power consumption. The special manufacturing process and strict balancing correction ensure the long-term stability of product performance. The high-quality epoxy fiberglass material ensures the product's corrosion resistance, and the special curing process ensures the product's mechanical strength, making it more suitable for various harsh working environments. Actual tower applications show that these fan blades have high efficiency, large flow rate, suitable wind pressure, high coincidence between aerodynamic performance characteristics curve and measured data, beautiful appearance, bright colors, and unique style.
This fan is available in various specifications: 3.6 meters, 4 meters, 4.2 meters, 4.7 meters, 5.5 meters, 6 meters, 7 meters, 7.7 meters, 8 meters, 8.53 meters, 9.14 meters, and 10.06 meters. It is widely used in the cooling towers of circulating water systems in modern enterprises in the petroleum, chemical, power generation, steelmaking, iron smelting, coking, and textile industries. This machine can be used not only for new cooling towers but also for older ones, demonstrating its strong adaptability.
To ensure that the fan performance better meets user requirements, our factory has extensively absorbed advanced technologies and research results from similar domestic products and, through continuous improvement, has achieved a domestically leading level. After long-term operation in the factory and user application, the various performance indicators of the fan have met the design requirements. Compared with similar domestic products, this fan features large air volume, stable transmission, compact structure, small size, low noise, long lifespan, reliable sealing, and convenient maintenance. External fasteners are all made of stainless steel or galvanized, comparable to imported products.
The cooling tower fan mainly consists of a motor, connecting shaft, reducer, hub, blades, oil level gauge, and other components. The following is a description of each component:
1. Motor:
This series of cooling tower fans are equipped with Y-series motors, with a rated voltage of 380V and a working frequency of 50Hz. If users require other types of motors, please specify when ordering.
2. Connector:
The connecting shaft consists of two half couplings and a drive shaft. The half couplings and the drive shaft are connected by an elastic sleeve pin. This structure is not only easy to disassemble but also ensures stable transmission, corrosion resistance, and compensation for axial displacement, improving shaft stiffness and reducing vibration. The drive shaft undergoes dynamic balancing tests to ensure that the balance accuracy meets the requirements.
3. Reducer:
This reducer uses a two-stage gear transmission. The first stage is a pair of spiral bevel gears, and the second stage is a pair of helical cylindrical gears. The gear material is 20CrMnTi, which, after carburizing and heat treatment, has high corrosion resistance and impact resistance. The input shaft end of the reducer uses a double-skeleton seal structure, and the output shaft end uses a labyrinth seal. The sealing of each sealing surface is reliable. This reducer features low vibration, low noise, and stable operation.
4. Hub:
The hub has high strength. Its outer surface is galvanized for corrosion protection, allowing for long-term use in various corrosive gases and water vapor environments. The hub and reducer are connected using a tapered sleeve, providing good centering. This structure allows for a large blade angle adjustment range, accurate positioning, and convenient installation and maintenance.
5. Blades:
The blade shape adopts an internationally advanced airfoil design, resulting in good aerodynamic performance and high efficiency. The blades are made of high-strength fiberglass using a molding process, offering high strength, light weight, corrosion resistance, and easy installation and removal. After shaping, the blades undergo a large-torque balance test to ensure they meet design requirements.
6. External Oil Level Gauge:
The external oil level gauge consists of two pipes. The air pipe, which vents air, is drawn from the reducer's upper cover; the oil pipe, used for observing the oil level, is drawn from the lower part of the reducer.
