Fiberglass tank

　　Fiberglass tanks are non-metallic composite tanks made of resin and fiberglass wound by a microcomputer-controlled machine. They have advantages such as corrosion resistance, high strength, long service life, flexible design, and strong processability. Due to the characteristics of fiberglass tanks, they are widely used in the chemical, environmental protection, food, pharmaceutical, and dyeing industries, gradually replacing most market segments of carbon steel and stainless steel.
　　Fiberglass tanks can be classified into: vertical storage tanks, hydrochloric acid storage tanks, horizontal storage tanks, transport tanks, sulfuric acid storage tanks, fermentation tanks, chemical storage tanks, anti-corrosion storage tanks, fiberglass mixing tanks, nitric acid storage tanks, gas storage tanks, liquid ammonia storage tanks, etc.
　　Fiberglass tanks are characterized by corrosion resistance, high strength, and long lifespan. They are widely used in our lives. However, some problems may inevitably occur during use. Repair methods for fiberglass tanks:
　　1. First, clean the inner wall of the fiberglass tank. After a period of use, some residues may remain on the inner wall of the fiberglass tank. If not cleaned, personnel entering may be burned.
　　2. Determine the medium stored in the fiberglass tank. For example, if hydrochloric acid is stored, determine its concentration to facilitate proper material selection by personnel.
　　3. After entering the tank, personnel should locate the leak point identified by the fiberglass tank manufacturer. After determining the leak point, grind the inner wall of the tank. Grinding must be thorough, leaving no dead corners. Thorough grinding ensures that the fiberglass tank material and the inner wall components combine during repair, preventing delamination.
　　4. After grinding the inner wall of the fiberglass tank, apply hand lay-up to the ground area. When hand lay-up is applied, ensure that each layer of fiber cloth is thoroughly brushed with fiberglass resin. Ideally, apply one layer of fiberglass cloth followed by one layer of fiberglass resin.
